Edward Steichen and the Garden explores the profound relationship between photographer Edward Steichen’s artistic work and his passion for gardening. For over sixty years, Steichen devoted time and resources to cultivating plants—particularly delphiniums—integrating nature and creativity into his artistic vision. The work demonstrates the close link between these two practices and includes illustrations of his photographs and paintings, as well as works by other artists in his garden. It also incorporates archival material that reflects his personal dedication to the natural world.
