Immortal explores Richard Avedon’s obsession with ‘the onslaught of age’, showcasing nearly 100 black-and-white portraits of cultural figures such as Michelangelo Antonioni, Truman Capote, Marcel Duchamp, Duke Ellington, Toni Morrison, Patti Smith, Stephen Sondheim and his final self-portrait.
