I Hear Music in the Streets: New York 1969–89

El libro se estructura en ocho capítulos temáticos, cada uno explorando comunidades, movimientos y espacios que moldearon la escena musical de la ciudad: "The Bronx Boys", "The Oddballs", "Black Power", "The Pride", "The Subways", "Our Latin Thing", "The Beach" y "Days of Disco". Guiándonos por este viaje urbano está el historiador musical Tim Lawrence, autor de los bestsellers Love Saves the Day (2004), Hold On to Your Dreams (2009) y Life and Death on the New York Dance Floor (2016).
